UNIQUE NATURAL FIBRE COMPOSITES
Kareline® materials are the best choice for the future. The materials are reinforced with natural fibres and have been designed for injection moulding with standard injection moulding machines and moulds.

KARELINE® PPMS EC + COW
FIBRE REINFORCED PP
Polypropene-based Kareline® PPMS composites are typically used in indoor and outdoor furniture, interior design components, technical components, tool handles, houseware, covers, and sauna products. PPMS EC gives an injection moulded product an exceptionally lively appearance, whereas PPMS has a look that more resembles a traditional plastic product. Kareline® PPMS W is a bone-coloured composite material that is easy to dye.
FIBRE REINFORCED ABS
Kareline® ABMS is an excellent raw material when a piece must have high surface quality and be both flexible and impact resistant. It is suitable for use in, for example, equipment boxes, car parts, tool handles, sports equipment, and furniture. When necessary, an ABMS composite product can be given very lively colours and surface structure.
FIBRE REINFORCED PS
The matrix plastic in Kareline® PSMS composites is polystyrene. Kareline® PSMS is well suited for applications in which no extreme mechanical properties are required but where excellent surface quality as well as a beautiful, lively appearance and structure are important. Such applications include, for instance, watch and jewellery boxes, packaging of cosmetic products, and various decorative items.
FIBRE REINFORCED POM
Kareline® POMS composites based on the polyoxymethylene (POM) matrix are typically used in technical applications, such as items requiring high stiffness, good impact resistance, flexibility and possibly a low-friction surface. Applications include different machinery and equipment parts, gears, slide bearings and rails, as well as reels. This material does not shrink as much as pure POM.
FIBRE REINFORCED PLA
Kareline® PLMS is based on a 100% biodegradable PLA matrix. The reinforcing fibres improve PLA’s application and injection moulding properties significantly. For example, end products have a wider operating temperature range, and the cycle time of injection moulding is considerably reduced. In addition, the biodegradability of PLMS in the correct circumstances is faster compared to that of pure PLA.
